²⁴ The fat of an animal that dies a natural death or an animal that has been torn apart by a wild animal can be used for any function, only it is not to be eaten. ²⁵ Whoever eats the fat of an animal that has been offered to the Lord in fire will be cut off from his people. ²⁶ You are not to eat blood in any of your dwellings, whether it be blood from a bird or from any other animal.
